Okay, now we’re talking literally about this podcast. This is episode number one. Welcome. I am so honored and thrilled that you’re here with me today. So what is The Momentum Marketing podcast?
Well, this is my opportunity to share more knowledge, more tips, more strategies, give you what’s working right now in the online marketing space, in the business world that I’m seeing, that I’ve gone through, tested, tried and true. I want to help you build a business that supports your lifestyle and your family and this is the place to do it. The Momentum Marketing podcast is going to be my journey with, working with clients, working with my students and I’m gonna share as much as I possibly can with you.
So a few things to know about the podcast, we’re going to have lots of different segments. So first and foremost there’s always going to be some kind of topic of the day where I’m talking about what I know, what I’ve learned, what I’ve been testing in my business and it’s going to be a lot. It’s going to be everything from intense coaching, blueprints, content, batching cart recovery campaigns. We’re going to talk about perfectionism. We’re going to talk about some parenting because that’s a huge thing in my life right now. We’re going to talk about building lists, quarterly planning, annual planning, building funnels, black friday promotion, running ads, doing organic traffic, delegating, creating systems, writing emails, automation, how to create five day challenges, how to write webinars, how to make a bootcamp, goal setting, course creation, social media. What’s working facebook content, automation, which is a huge topic very near and dear to my heart, lead magnets, prioritizing productization, and so so, so much more.
A couple of segments we’re gonna do. There’s always going to be an on deck, there’s always going to be a topic of the day. Like I said now and again, I’m going to bring in a guest speaker to just share more knowledge and talk about what’s happening in the market right now. We’ll get top 10 lists and I hope that you’ll provide feedback. I’m going to ask some of you guys to chime in and give me your top 10 as well as I’m going to give my input and then I want to hear back from you. We’re also going to do what I’m going to call Momentum Trivia. So if there’s trivia or if I want to get your feedback or if you can provide thoughts and ideas on the topic, we’re gonna talk all about that.

We’re gonna talk about products I love, things that I’m using in my business. I really will try so, so so, so hard to only talk about products that I actually use in my business. And I will definitely make sure I can promise you that I’m only going to talk about products that I know. And talk about products and programs and software that I’ve actually used and physically touched. If I haven’t touched it, haven’t used it, if I know nothing about it, I’m not going to bring it up because I don’t think it’s fair to have an opinion about something that I haven’t actually used. So anytime you hear about products that I love, know that it is a tried and true product that I genuinely love and have worked with myself. I’m also going to give you real world examples like I said, it’s so important that what I’m teaching and what I’m sharing is stuff that I’m actually using inside of my business. This is so important to me, I cannot tell you how many gurus are out there that are suggesting software or teaching strategies that they themselves don’t actually use. And look, I totally get it when you’re a guru, when you have a big list when you’re in, you know the Gary V Amy Porterfield like that sort of level, it’s a different ball game, it’s a numbers game, it’s completely different than when you’re just starting out or when you’re a scrappy entrepreneur and you’ve got to figure out your stuff. I totally get that but I also don’t love that there are so many gurus, not those two specifically, but there’s so many gurus and know it all people out there that are, are suggesting and teaching things that they don’t actually do or that. They don’t actually see working right now with their clients or with their, with their coaching students.
So I promise you from the bottom of my heart, I will only teach strategies that I’m actually using, or that my students are using, or that my clients are using, and we’re actually seeing real results. And I’ll be upfront and honest and say, hey, this is an option, you can try this, I’ve not tried it, but it could work for you, best of luck. Another segment can be some marketing fixes. So if I see something out in the real world, a piece of marketing, a piece of advertising, some kind of a promotion or even an operational thing because I love operations and I see a way that it can be done better. I’m gonna share that with you and bring those examples to this podcast.
Another one of my favorite segments is going to be what’s in my notebook. So what am I actually working on? What am I thinking about? What am I prioritizing? And how you can do the exact same. What my next steps are and how you can follow along.
Another segment will be action items. So I don’t want you to just listen to this, get the warm and fuzzies and then do nothing with it. I know that energy begins energy, I know that the only way to accomplish anything in this life is to do it to be about the action, to take action to stumble but stumble forward, mess up but mess up in a big way so that you learn and you can grow, grow and you can move forward and you can build that momentum. That is what The Momentum Marketing podcast is all about. My entire branding is all around building momentum. I don’t do everything absolutely perfectly every single time, but I believe that as long as I continue to do and put stuff out there into the world, I will grow, I will learn and I will get better and better and better and better in time. So I want to make sure that I provide you with action items or takeaways so that you can go and implement these things inside of your own business so that you can continue to see results as well and not just listen to another pod, get the warm and fuzzies get inspired and then do nothing with it. Another segment is going to be parenting tips you didn’t ask for. So although this is a marketing forward podcast, I’m going to be talking a lot about marketing, which is what I do.
I’m also going to be talking about parenting. My hope for this segment is that people who are parents and entrepreneurs can listen to this and understand where I’m coming from and take some value from it. Maybe maybe put that into their own families of their own lives, but people who aren’t parents and that’s totally cool if you’re listening to this and you hear a parenting tip, maybe it’s something that you can share with a sibling or a friend or maybe share it with a brother in law or sister in law, but parenting is such a huge part of my life right now. Especially having my son, who’s going to be three in about a month, and throughout this journey of entrepreneurship and parenthood, I see so many parallels, so many similarities, so many things that my son is going through and the stumbling blocks that he’s been experiencing through his early years of life, as well as the stumbling blocks that I went through as a young entrepreneur. And I want to make sure I share those with you, whether you take it as a parenting tip that you can go put into your own family or you take it as a funny or quirky anecdote. Either way, that’s such a huge part of my life, I would be remiss if I did not share those things with you over time as the podcast grows, we might add some more fill in segments and ideas.
